Where should you spend more—and save—on a honeymoon?

A memorable honeymoon does not require purchasing every upgrade. It requires protecting the parts of the trip that matter most to the two of you.

Spend where it changes the daily experience

Location, room comfort, flight timing and reliable transfers often influence the trip every day. A beautiful room is less valuable if the location makes everything you want to do difficult.

Save on upgrades you will barely use

Club levels, premium views, elaborate arrival packages and private add-ons can be wonderful—but only when they support the experience you actually want.

Protect the budget from avoidable surprises

We should account for taxes, transfers, gratuities, meals that are not included, excursions and travel protection before treating the remaining amount as the room budget.

Begin with three priorities

Choose the three things you most want to remember: perhaps the beach, privacy and one extraordinary experience. Build around those before adding extras.
